About the role

We are seeking a Registered Electrical Engineer to join Polystar General Services Inc. in a full-time capacity. Based at our Mall of Asia location in Pasay City, Metro Manila, this role is pivotal to our engineering operations and service delivery. As a Registered Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and contributing to the technical excellence that underpins our business. Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and oversee electrical systems and installations in accordance with regulatory standards and industry best practices
• Conduct comprehensive electrical audits and assessments to identify potential risks and areas for improvement
• Ensure all electrical work complies with the Philippine Electrical Code and relevant safety regulations
• Supervise and coordinate with technical teams on the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical equipment and infrastructure
• Prepare detailed technical reports, drawings and specifications for electrical projects
• Troubleshoot electrical system failures and implement corrective solutions
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff
• Liaise with clients, contractors and regulatory bodies to ensure project requirements are met
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of all electrical systems and maintenance activities
• Review and approve electrical designs and systems to guarantee safety and operational efficiency

What we're looking for

• Valid Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) licence as a Registered Electrical Engineer in the Philippines
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline from a recognised institution
• Minimum of 5 years' professional experience in electrical engineering, preferably in commercial or industrial settings
• In-depth knowledge of the Philippine Electrical Code and relevant safety standards and regulations
• Proficiency with electrical design software and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) applications
• Strong understanding of power distribution systems, lighting design and electrical infrastructure
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in technical assessments
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise workload effectively
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
• Leadership experience and the capability to supervise and mentor technical teams
• Certification in occupational health and safety (OHS) or Project Management Professional (PMP) credentials are desirable
