Qualifications

About the role

Polystar General Services Inc. is seeking a Registered Electrical Engineer to join our team in a full-time capacity based in Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila. This is a strategic position within our organisation where you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing electrical engineering projects and systems. As a Registered Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all electrical installations, maintenance, and safety protocols meet industry standards and regulatory requirements. Your expertise will directly contribute to the successful delivery of our engineering solutions and the safety and efficiency of our operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan, and oversee the installation of electrical systems, equipment, and infrastructure in accordance with technical specifications and regulatory standards

• Conduct site inspections and assessments to evaluate electrical requirements and identify potential issues or safety hazards

• Prepare detailed technical drawings, schematics, and project documentation using industry-standard software and tools

• Supervise and coordinate with technical teams, contractors, and external partners to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met

• Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and minimise downtime

What we're looking for

• Current Professional Electrical Engineer Licensure from Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) in the Philippines

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution

• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in electrical engineering, preferably in commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects

• Proficiency in electrical design software and computer-aided design (CAD) tools

• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code of the Philippines and local building codes

• Demonstrated expertise in electrical system design, installation, and maintenance

• Excellent project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams

• Problem-solving ability and attention to detail

• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required

• Preferred: Experience in renewable energy systems, power distribution networks, or automation systems
