Job summary

VR CONCEPT INC. is seeking a Project Manager to oversee end-to-end execution of retail fixtures, store displays, fabrication, signage, and installation projects in the Philippines.

The role focuses on planning, scheduling, cost control, and coordinating with architects, production teams, and clients to ensure on-time delivery within budget and to approved specifications. Travel to sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3-5 years of project management experience.
• Experience in retail fit-out, fabrication, signage, store fixtures, displays, construction, or installation.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from turnover to completion and client acceptance.
• Review specifications, drawings, BOMs, timelines and deliverables.
• Prepare and monitor schedules, manpower, material requirements, and milestones.
• Coordinate with Architects, Graphic Artists, Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, Installation Teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
• Monitor fabrication and production progress to ensure conformance to designs.
• Conduct site visits and installation inspections.
• Identify risks, delays, and design issues and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor costs, variations, and resource utilization.
• Prepare status reports and communicate progress to management and clients.
• Lead project meetings and resolve project concerns.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.

Role Purpose

The Project Manager will oversee the end-to-end execution of retail fixture, store display, fabrication, signage, and installation projects from project turnover and planning through production, site installation, quality checking, and final client turnover.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects from initial turnover to completion and client acceptance.
• Review project specifications, drawings, bill of materials, timelines, and deliverables.
• Prepare and monitor project schedules, manpower requirements, material requirements, and milestones.
• Coordinate closely with Architects, Graphic Artists, Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, Installation Teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
• Monitor fabrication and production progress to ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications.
• Conduct site visits and installation inspections.
• Ensure materials, manpower, equipment, and site requirements are ready before installation.
• Identify project risks, delays, material shortages, design issues, and site concerns and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor project costs, variations, additional works, and resource utilization.
• Ensure quality standards are met before delivery and installation.
• Prepare project status reports and communicate progress to management and clients.
• Lead project meetings and coordinate project concerns until resolution.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to approved specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• At least 3-5 years of project management experience.
• Experience in retail fit-out, fabrication, signage, store fixtures, displays, construction, or installation is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of fabrication and installation processes.
• Experience coordinating production and site installation teams.
• Strong project scheduling and problem-solving skills.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and project management tools.
• Willing to conduct site visits and travel when required.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
