The Project Architect is responsible for the planning, design, and coordination of showroom projects, ensuring that all architectural outputs align with company standards, product requirements, and client specifications. This position prepares drawings, coordinates with internal teams and contractors, and monitors project execution from concept to completion.
- Conduct site assessment of proposed showroom locations
- Develop concept design aligned with brand standards and prepare detailed architectural and interior design plans
- Prepare working drawings, layouts, and technical specifications while reviewing designs against local building codes and mall/lessor requirements for compliance
- Coordinate with stakeholders for design approval and requirements alignment
- Prepare complete bid documents including drawings and scope of work and identify qualified contractors/suppliers
- Evaluate contractor proposals, cost estimates, and timelines and recommend contractors based on technical and financial evaluation
- Oversee construction activities and monitor project progress against approved plans, specifications, and timelines
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks (start, middle, turnover) and coordinate with contractors and stakeholders
- Coordinate installation of furniture, displays, and merchandising elements and verify functionality of all utilities (electrical, lighting, air-conditioning)
- Performs other related duties assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or equivalent
- With at least three (3) years of experience in architectural design and detailing, and at least two (2) years of experience in site supervision
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and other architectural design software
- Knowledgeable in architectural design principles, building codes, construction methods, material specifications, and MEP coordination
- Strong coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Preferably with a valid Driver's License
