Job summary

SM Retail is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to oversee planning, execution, and completion of complex construction projects in Metro Manila. You will ensure quality, safety, budgets, and schedules while coordinating with architects, contractors, and internal stakeholders.

The role requires leadership from planning through turnover, strong knowledge of building codes, and a track record of delivering projects on time and within cost.

Qualifications

• Licensed Architect or related professional qualification in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• At least 8-10 years of experience in construction project management, site development, or related field.
• Proven experience handling construction projects from planning to completion.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, building standards, and project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end construction projects from planning, design coordination, execution, and project turnover.
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, quality standards, and construction deliverables.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor construction progress, quality, and compliance with approved plans and specifications.
• Review project plans, drawings, and technical documents to ensure alignment with business requirements.
• Identify project risks, provide solutions, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
• Prepare project status reports, updates, and recommendations for management review.
