Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans for the engineering and construction departments to meet the company's objectives.


• Oversee the planning, design, and execution of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.


• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, and construction professionals fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.


• Develop and manage budgets for projects and the department, ensuring financial efficiency and accountability.


• Identify and mitigate risks associated with engineering and construction activities.


• Ensure all projects comply with local, national, and industry regulations, including health and safety standards.


• Review project progress and performance reports.


• Address critical issues or challenges that arise during project execution.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of site development, earthworks, road construction, drainage, and utility installations.


• Proficiency in construction methodologies, project scheduling (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project), and cost control.


• Familiarity with resort-specific infrastructure, including high-end finishes, sustainability features, and environmental compliance.


• Understanding of local building codes, environmental regulations, and permit requirements for land development and hospitality projects.


• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEPF plans.


• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other construction-related software.

• Licensed Civil Engineer (preferred).

Work Experience

• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in the construction industry.


• At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager handling horizontal/land development projects (e.g., site grading, roadworks, utilities, drainage, and landscaping).


• Previous experience in the construction of resorts (e.g., villas, pools, beachfront facilities, infrastructure) is required.
