The position requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, with 3+ years NGO experience preferred, and proficiency in QuickBooks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, management or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of NGO finance experience preferred.
• Proficient in QuickBooks and financial documentation handling.
• Strong attention to detail with deadlines and numbers.
• Maintains confidentiality of financial records and reports.
• Strong written and verbal communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Handle special project bookkeeping and related documents.
• Review documents for approval in Docswave and process fund requests.
• Prepare and review journal vouchers, liquidations, cash advances, and related entries.
• Manage financial documentary processes for Tingloy, CDP and project locations.
• Scan and archive financial documents and maintain accuracy of reports.
• Act as petty cash custodian and monitor bank transactions and balances.
• Liaise with banks and government agencies as needed and keep records organized.
• Carry other duties as assigned by Senior Finance Manager.

Job Description:

• Handle Special Project bookkeeping
• Review all relative documents for approval in Docswave
• Review Fund Requests (FR), liquidations (SR), cash advance, journal vouchers, etc.
• Check and journal voucher preparations
• Undertake all financial documentary management in Tingloy and CDP and special project locations
• Scanning of all financial documents (DV and JV)
• Petty Cash custodian and replenishment
• Handles bank transactions
• Monitor book and bank and book balance
• Ensure accuracy of report and safe keeping of essential attachments and/or documents in line with the project implementation such as but not limited to, receipts, sales invoice and acknowledgement letters.
• Liaise with bank and other government agencies as needed
• Keep records of project funds and expenditure and ensure all project-related financial documentation is well maintained and readily available when required
• Carry any other duties as may be directed by the Senior Finance Manager

Qualifications:

• Graduate of at least, a Bachelor's degree in accounting, management or other relevant degrees
• Preferably with at least (3) years of relevant experience with an international NGO (in the areas of finance and admin)
• Knowledge in Quickbooks
• Keen on details (especially with numbers and deadlines)
• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality concerning the organizations' financial files/records
• Good oral and written communications skills
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with a team
