Job summary

JDD Construction Inc. is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead procurement activities for our operations and projects in the Philippines. You will source materials, equipment, and services, and drive cost-effective purchasing to meet project timelines.

The role requires 5–8 years of procurement experience, strong supplier negotiation skills, and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams. Travel to project sites or suppliers may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in SCM, BA, Eng or related field.
• Proven procurement experience with supplier management and negotiation.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the procurement process from sourcing to delivery.
• Develop procurement strategies and procedures.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, contractors and service providers.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, contracts and delivery schedules.

• Negotiate pricing, terms, contracts, and delivery schedules
• Monitor purchase orders, deliveries, and supplier performance
• Ensure materials, equipment, and services are delivered according to project requirements
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and develop new sources when needed
• Monitor procurement costs and identify opportunities for cost savings
• Coordinate with Project Management, Engineering, Finance, and other departments
• Supervise and provide guidance to the procurement team

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 5–8 years of relevant procurement experience, with supervisory or managerial experience
• Strong experience in sourcing, supplier management, and negotiation
• Knowledge of procurement processes, contracts, and cost control
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Experience in the construction industry is highly preferred
• Willing to travel to project sites or suppliers as required
