Job Description:
Execute procurement activities for fit-out and interior construction projects in accordance with project requirements and timelines.
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for construction materials, finishes, fixtures, furniture, and MEP components.
Coordinate the accreditation, evaluation, and selection of suppliers and subcontractors.
Review BOQs, technical specifications, and project requirements to prepare accurate procurement plans.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, designers, and other departments to ensure procurement requirements are properly identified and fulfilled.
Monitor purchase orders, supplier commitments, and material deliveries to ensure timely availability at project sites.
Evaluate supplier and subcontractor performance based on quality, cost, lead time, and service.
Assist in monitoring procurement budgets and identify opportunities for cost savings and value improvement.
Review quotations, compare pricing, and recommend suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery requirements.
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, construction standards, safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier documentation, and vendor database.
Build and maintain good working relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
Provide guidance and support to junior procurement staff in sourcing, canvassing, negotiation, and purchasing activities.
Assist the Procurement Manager in developing and improving procurement processes and strategies.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
3-5 years of procurement experience, preferably in construction, fit-out, interior, or related industries.
Strong knowledge of construction materials, finishes, fixtures, furniture, MEP components, and subcontracting processes.
Experience in supplier sourcing, quotation evaluation, price negotiation, and vendor management.
Familiarity with BOQs, technical specifications, material requirements, and project costing.
Experience in handling procurement for multiple projects and managing project-based purchasing requirements.
Familiarity with ERP systems, procurement software, and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong negotiation, analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and coordination skills with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple procurement requirements in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
Leadership skills and ability to guide or supervise junior procurement personnel
