HG-III Construction and Development Corporation is seeking a Procurement Specialist in Metro Manila to source and evaluate suppliers, prepare procurement documents, and negotiate terms with vendors. You will coordinate with project teams to ensure timely delivery and maintain records for compliance.
The role requires a degree in business or engineering and 6 months to 1 year in procurement, with strong Excel and ERP familiarity. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, with on-site work in Makati.
Source and evaluate qualified suppliers, contractors, and service providers for construction-related requirements.
Obtain and analyze quotations, proposals, and bids to ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
Conduct supplier accreditation, evaluation, and performance monitoring.
Develop and maintain a reliable network of suppliers and vendors.
Prepare and process Purchase Requests (PRs), Requests for Quotation (RFQs), Purchase Orders (POs), and related procurement documents.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, and contractual conditions.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services.
Monitor and track procurement activities to ensure compliance with project schedules.
Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, and Site Personnel to determine project procurement requirements.
Monitor material requirements and procurement schedules based on project timelines.
Coordinate delivery logistics and resolve supply chain issues affecting project operations.
Assist in cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations.
Conduct price benchmarking and market research for construction materials and services.
Monitor procurement expenditures and ensure purchases are within approved budgets.
Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, contracts, and purchasing documents.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
Prepare procurement reports, supplier performance reports, and purchasing analyses as required by management.
Coordinate with warehouse and project teams regarding inventory levels and material requirements.
Monitor critical materials to avoid shortages and project delays.
Assist in inventory reconciliation and material utilization reviews.
Participate in vendor meetings, site visits, and supplier audits when necessary.
Perform other procurement and supply chain-related tasks as assigned by management.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
At least 6-months or 1 year of procurement experience, preferably in the construction industry. Fresh Grads are welcome to apply
Strong knowledge of construction materials, equipment, subcontracting, and procurement processes.
Experience in supplier sourcing, bidding, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Experience using ERP, procurement, or inventory management systems is an advantage.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously.
