Job summary

Aibel Pte Ltd in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Planner to lead planning on major oil & gas and wind energy projects. You will develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and provide reports to support decision-making.

The role requires 15+ years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a Lead or Principal Planner position, and a degree in engineering. Proficiency in Primavera and Microsoft Office is essential, with strong leadership and cross-cultural

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of project experience in Oil & Gas or Wind Energy.
• 5 years in Lead or Principal Planner role.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules with reports and analysis to support project management.
• Directs the development and implementation of the project execution plan within the overall project schedule.
• In charge of schedule management, including setting up level 4 critical path schedule and periodic schedule update.
• Identify trends, analyse critical path, and evaluate consequences to the schedule.
• Prepare 'S' curves, manpower histograms, rundown curves, and other planning deliverables as required in accordance with project requirements.
• In case of delays, prepare recovery plan in agreement with the project team
• Support Project Manager, Project Planning Manager and other project team with reports for analysis and decision-making.
• Manages and mentors Senior Planner/Planner ensuring effective collaboration and performance.
• Ensure adherence to the internal procedures and policies and drive implementation of new initiatives leading to fully integrated planning
• Assist the tender team with planning inputs as required
• Any other ad hoc planning activities to support the projects / tenders

Work experience requirements:

• Minimum 15 years of relevant project experience in medium to large-scale Oil & Gas (including FPSO) or Wind Energy sectors, with 5 years in a Lead or Principal Planner role.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or equivalent.

Other skills:

• Extensive experience with Primavera, Microsoft Suite and ability to adapt quickly to new IT Tools

• Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in managing a planning team in a large-scale project

• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills to assess project performance and identify potential issues.

• Effective problem-solving, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively with people across various cultures

• Ability to travel at short notice / perform overtime work as required
