Job summary

CHINA CONSTRUCTION FRONT GEN. DEVT. CORP. in Metro Manila seeks a skilled construction project planner to develop and maintain detailed schedules across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements and timely updates from site teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree, 3–5 years of planning experience, and strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project, with solid analytical and reporting abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in construction project planning and scheduling.
• Mastery of Primavera P6 and understanding of FIDIC EOT evidence requirements.
• Experience in preparing delay impact analyses and extra resource consumption assessment.
• Proficiency with MS Project or Primavera P6; able to produce S Curves and delay root-cause reports.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project delivery systems, and industry standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work with complex data.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project schedules using industry-standard planning tools and methodologies.
• Monitor and track project progress against approved schedules, identifying variances and corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed schedule reports and presentations for senior management, stakeholders, and clients.
• Analyse resource allocation to optimise workforce deployment and minimise delays.

• Identify scheduling risks and develop contingency plans and mitigation strategies.
• Maintain and update master and sub-schedules across multiple projects.
• Conduct schedule audits to ensure compliance with best practices and standards.
• Support bid and tender processes with scheduling expertise and duration estimates.
• Collaborate with finance and procurement to align schedules with budgets and procurement timelines.
• Fluent English for report writing and on-site communication.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction project planning and scheduling

• Mastery of Primavera P6 and understands FIDIC EOT evidence requirements

• Support FIDIC EOT claim preparation via delay impact and concurrent delay analysis and extra resource consumption assessment

• Proficiency in project scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar tools. Performs regular schedule updates; produce S Curves and written reports identifying delay root causes

• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project delivery systems, and industry standards

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with complex data sets

• Proven experience in developing and managing detailed project schedules for large-scale construction projects

• Fluent english for report writing and on site communication
