The Planning Engineer is responsible for the preparation of the tender requirements related to scheduling, the master program and the project progress reports to ensure efficient scheduling and timely implementation of the project.
Prepare the proposed construction schedule and calculate resource assignments, including manpower loading and tools and equipment utilization, to provide an efficient project implementation plan and support the cost proposal to the Client.
Review the completeness of the technical proposal to verify proper and complete compilation of the requirements by the Client.
Review all the contract documents and consider all the deliverables and project execution plan to support appropriateness and reasonableness of the master program.
Prepare the master program and calculate resource assignments, including manpower loading and tools and equipment utilization, to provide the most efficient schedule and allow the orderly performance and timely completion of the project.
Prepare the material procurement schedule, in coordination with the Procurement Team, to provide guidance on the proper timing of each step of the procurement process.
Update the master program, the manpower loading and the material procurement schedule to reflect the actual progress, the scope changes, and the revisions needed to provide an efficient and effective schedule that will facilitate the timely completion of the project.
Conduct field scoping to clarify or confirm progress and scope changes.
Coordinate with the Customer, Operations team, concerned Department Heads, and other trade contractors for the efficient resolution of concerns and for the proper execution of the project.
Maintain a systematic and well-organized filing system for documentations related to planning and scheduling to ensure completeness of records and to provide easy access to reference.
Provide back-up relief for other team members and perform ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned from time to time to provide support to the department and the Company.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Professional License in Civil Engineer
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Primavera P6, MS Office
Knowledge in Claims and Close-out of Project
5 to 8 years of working experience in the related field
Willing to work on site
Willing to work 6 days a week
Willing to relocate
