Job summary

Azizi Developments seeks a senior planning expert to lead detailed schedules for high-rise residential projects in the UAE. You will coordinate with design, procurement and construction teams, applying Primavera P6 to control timelines and resources.

The role requires 10+ years in construction planning, with at least 5 in a senior position, GCC experience, and strong EVM, CPT, and dashboarding skills using Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 10+ years in construction planning with at least 5 years in a senior planning role.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 is mandatory; MS Project a plus.
• Experience in high-rise residential projects; GCC/UAE experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Define WBS, activity logic, durations, and critical path with design and site teams.
• Prepare resource-loaded and cost-loaded schedules including manpower and cash flow histograms.
• Develop look-ahead programmes (3-week and 6-week) and recovery schedules when needed.
• Track progress against baselines and analyse critical and near-critical paths.
• Carry out Earned Value analysis (SPI, CPI) and progress measurement.
• Prepare Extension of Time submissions and delay analyses (Time Impact Analysis).
• Monitor subcontractor programmes to align with the master schedule.
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports and dashboards for senior management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using advanced planning software ensuring all Develop detailed baseline programmes Level 1 5 for high-rise residential projects using Primavera P6 covering design procurement construction MEP testing commissioning and handover
• Define the Work Breakdown Structure WBS activity logic durations and critical path in coordination with project design and site teams
• Prepare resource-loaded and cost-loaded schedules including manpower equipment and cash flow histograms
• Develop look-ahead programmes 3-week 6-week and recovery or acceleration schedules when needed
• Track actual progress against baseline update programmes regularly and analyse critical and near-critical paths
• Carry out Earned Value analysis SPI CPI S-curves and progress measurement
• Find potential delays early and propose mitigation measures to the Project Manager
• Monitor subcontractor programmes and make sure they align with the master schedule
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports dashboards and presentations for senior management clients and consultants
• Present schedule status risks and forecasts in progress meetings
• Prepare Extension of Time EOT submissions and delay analysis Time Impact Analysis As-Planned vs As-Built Windows Analysis

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• PMP, PMI-SP or equivalent planning certification is an advantage.
• 10+ years of overall experience in construction planning, with at least 5 years in a senior planning role.
• Experience in Power BI for developing project dashboards, progress tracking and data visualisation.
• Proven experience in high-rise residential and building construction projects in the UAE.
• GCC experience is highly preferred.
• Experience on the contractor side, from project start to handover.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 (mandatory); knowledge of MS Project is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling techniques, critical path method, EVM and delay analysis methods.
