Participates in the preparation of the Project Operational Plan, Master Schedule, and PERT-CPM.
Details the schedule based on the present condition/workability of the project site.
Computes for the resources loading based on the construction schedule.
Presents to the PMT the construction schedule for submission to the Client; discusses with the Client and seeks approval of the same.
Provides PMT with a detailed target schedule/production:
Three-week look ahead
Three-month look ahead
Analyzes variances on time and resources.
Conducts committee meetings on schedule review.
Generates and recommends alternative plans and courses of actions in consultation with the PMT members.
Maintains and updates schedule – As-built against the Plan.
Monitors weekly and monthly progress accomplishments and weekly and monthly manpower productivity reports such as the Project Review of Operations.
Coordinates with the Cost Engineer and Quantity Engineer for the reporting of actual progress of work based on quantity and/or unit price.
Identifies and monitors events of delays in the schedule for the purpose of claiming time extensions and additional costs. Works closely with the Contract Administrator in the preparation of claims.
Generates a tail-end schedule to have a clear realization of the remaining works based on the actual and/or target parameters.
Updates resources loading based on the remaining works.
All other works as deemed necessary to ensure compliance to the policies, procedures and instructions set out by the department.
Reports directly to Senior Schedule, Doc. Control Engineer
Other related tasks that may be assigned.
Proven work experience as a Planning Engineer, Project Manager, or similar role in construction or engineering sectors
Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and procedures
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Proficiency in project management software (such as MS Project, Primavera P6, Power BI)
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related field
