Job summary

Denz Trading & Manpower Specialist is seeking a dedicated POS Repair Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain POS systems and related equipment at our Manila site. You will perform hardware checks, install software, and conduct preventive maintenance to keep devices functioning smoothly for daily operations.

Excellent troubleshooting and customer-service skills are required, along with willingness to travel for fieldwork when needed. Relevant IT or electronics education is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or related course.
• POS repair or technical support experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of hardware diagnostics, networking, and software installation.
• Familiarity with POS components (printers, scanners, cash registers).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to do fieldwork and travel when necessary.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair POS machines, printers, scanners, cash drawers, and related peripherals.
• Install, configure, and test POS hardware and software.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine system inspections.
• Troubleshoot technical issues reported by clients or internal teams.
• Replace defective parts and ensure proper system functionality after repair.
• Maintain records of repairs, replacements, and technical services performed.
• Coordinate with suppliers or service providers for parts replacement when necessary.
• Provide technical support and basic user guidance to clients or staff.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and service standards.
