Join our expansion as we look for 30 qualified Field Technicians in the Philippines. The Field Technician plays a crucial role in delivering POS services from receipt of assets through deployment to post‑deployment support.

Job Summary

The role involves working closely with clients to ensure smooth installation, calibration, and maintenance of POS terminals, providing merchant training, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining accurate service reports.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Management
  • Receive, safekeep, and track POS terminals, accessories, and peripherals until scheduled deployment.
  • Maintain full responsibility for all received assets.
• Terminal Preparation
  • Verify installation of applications and completeness of downloaded profiles/data.
• Deployment and Servicing
  • Deploy new terminals and/or peripherals or replace existing installations with on‑site checking and reprogramming.
• Testing and Calibration
  • Test and calibrate installed equipment to ensure proper functionality and performance.
• Merchant Training
  • Provide training to merchants to ensure understanding of functionality, basic care, and security of deployed terminals.
• Troubleshooting
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues and malfunctions efficiently.
• On‑Site Support
  • Provide on‑site technical support and assistance to customers, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.
• Communication
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with customers, keeping them informed about deployment status.
• Service Reports
  • Accurately complete required details in field service and related reports for every service performed.

Qualifications

• Technical Vocational graduate or any technical‑related college degree or undergraduate.
• Computer literate with basic Windows applications knowledge.
• Has a motorcycle, a valid updated driver’s license, and ORCR.
• Experience or background in providing good customer service is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to do fieldwork, work on holidays, render overtime/on‑call per business requirement, and to be trained in our Manila office.
