Job summary

Tangent Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Field Technician in the Philippines to manage asset receiving, deployment, testing, and post-deployment services. You will train merchants, troubleshoot issues, and provide on-site support while maintaining clear client communication and thorough service reports.

The role requires fieldwork readiness, a technical background, and a valid motorcycle license with an ORCR. Willingness to work holidays and overtime is a plus.

Qualifications

• Technical/Vocational graduate or technical degree or undergraduate.
• Computer literate and able to use Basic Windows applications.
• Willing to do fieldwork and work on holidays/overtime as required.
• Must have motorcycle, updated driver’s license, and ORCR.

Responsibilities

• Deploy new terminals and/or peripherals, or replace installations; provide on-site checks and services per customer specs.
• Test and calibrate deployed equipment to ensure proper function.
• Provide merchant training on terminals and security.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Offer on-site technical support and clear communication with customers.
• Complete field service reports and submit on time.
• Liquidate field expenses per policy.
• Maintain inventory and accountability of assets.
