Job summary

Tangent Solutions, Inc. in the Philippines is seeking an Asset Preparation Technician to support installation and replacement projects. You will prepare and initialize requested assets, including POS terminals, routers, and other devices, and ensure they meet operational requirements.

You will download, test, and configure devices, verify asset data (MID, TID) and submit daily reports. The role involves quality assurance collaboration with Inventory Management, QA, and Field Technician Services.

Qualifications

• SHS graduate or higher; TESDA/vocational certified, college-level or college graduate.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and initializes requested assets for installation or replacement, including Traditional and Android POS terminals, routers, and other electronic devices.
• Downloads, tests, and configures devices to ensure they meet operational requirements.
• Evaluates and inspects assets received from Inventory Management for functionality, physical defects, and compliance with specifications.
• Ensures accuracy and completeness of all downloaded data and device profiles (e.g., MID, TID) according to requests.
• Prepares and submits daily accomplishment reports and other relevant documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
• Provides quality support and assistance to Inventory Management, QA, and Field Technician Services as required.
• Implements quality improvement initiatives and performs additional responsibilities as assigned by immediate superiors or executive management.
