Job summary

SM Engineering Design and Development Corp. seeks a strategic PMO leader to establish governance standards and oversee a portfolio of mall projects. You will report to senior leadership, drive performance, and guide senior PMO staff across divisions.

Ideal candidates hold an engineering or architectural degree, with 15+ years in construction planning/scheduling and 8+ years in senior leadership roles, plus PMP certification. MBA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture is preferred.
• MBA or advanced business degree is an advantage.
• PMP or equivalent certification is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and enforce PMO standards, methodologies, KPIs, and governance frameworks for project delivery excellence across all divisions.
• Oversee the consolidated portfolio of mall projects ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and risk mitigation.
• Provide timely, accurate strategic updates to senior leadership and stakeholders with a single source of truth through consolidated reporting.
• Lead Senior PMO Managers and Officers with direction, mentorship, and performance management to build a high-performing team.
• Act as executive liaison with internal divisions, affiliates, contractors, and vendors for seamless coordination of objectives.
• Oversee resource allocation and budget monitoring ensuring compliance with financial controls and efficiency in delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement by leveraging technology and best practices to enhance efficiency and accountability.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture

Portfolio Management

Oversee the consolidated portfolio of mall projects, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy, resource optimization, and risk mitigation.

Executive Reporting

Provide timely, accurate, and strategic updates to senior leadership and stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and corrective actions, while ensuring a single source of truth through consistent, consolidated reporting from different stakeholders.

Leadership & Development

Lead Senior PMO Managers and Officers, providing direction, mentorship, and performance management to build a high-performing, future-ready team.

Stakeholder Engagement

Act as the executive liaison with internal divisions, affiliates, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of project objectives.

Resource & Budget Governance

Oversee resource allocation and budget monitoring, ensuring compliance with financial controls and maximizing efficiency in project delivery.

Continuous Improvement

Drive innovation in project management practices, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance efficiency, transparency, and accountability.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
