Job summary

SM Engineering Design and Development Corp. seeks an Executive PMO leader to drive strategic reporting, governance and stakeholder alignment across complex projects.

You will mentor PMO managers, coordinate cross-divisional activities, manage resources and budgets, and champion process improvements with a data-driven mindset to deliver on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture preferred, MBA advantageous.
• Minimum 15 years in construction planning/scheduling with 8+ years in senior leadership.
• PMI PMP or equivalent certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, accurate, strategic updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Lead Senior PMO Managers and Officers with direction, mentorship and performance management.
• Act as executive liaison with internal divisions, affiliates, contractors and vendors.

Provide timely, accurate, and strategic updates to senior leadership and stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and corrective actions, while ensuring a single source of truth through consistent, consolidated reporting from different stakeholders.

Leadership & Development

Lead Senior PMO Managers and Officers, providing direction, mentorship, and performance management to build a high-performing, future-ready team.

Stakeholder Engagement

Act as the executive liaison with internal divisions, affiliates, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of project objectives.

Resource & Budget Governance

Oversee resource allocation and budget monitoring, ensuring compliance with financial controls and maximizing efficiency in project delivery.

Drive innovation in project management practices, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance efficiency, transparency, and accountability.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture is preferred. MBA or advanced business degree is an advantage.


• Minimum 15 years in construction planning/scheduling, with at least 8 years in senior leadership roles.


• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is strongly preferred.
