The role emphasizes collaboration with project managers and engineers, cost control, risk mitigation, and rigorous documentation to maintain standards and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture.
• At least 3 years of experience in Construction Management.
• PRC license preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to align project goals and progress.
• Provide engineering guidance, monitor costs, and manage budgets through the project lifecycle.
• Review specifications and risk assessments to resolve discrepancies and mitigate risks.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with quality standards and safety.
• Update stakeholders on progress, challenges, and scope changes.

JOB SUMMARY

Project Engineer is responsible for all technical and engineering aspects of their assigned projects. He will plan, schedule, predict and manage all the technical tasks of their assigned project to assure accuracy, proper resources, quality, and safety from start to finish.

RESPONSIBILITIES

PROJECT PLANNING

• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the project are aligned and progressing smoothly.
• Provide engineering expertise, technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle, monitor project costs, manage budgets, and report on financial status

PROJECT EXECUTION

• Review specification, drawing and comment on method statements and risk assessment to resolve any discrepancies or conflict'
• Assist in monitoring cost control measures on labor cost, material movement, material use and wastage in order to ensure productive work and continually reduce wastage.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

• Maintain thorough documentation of project activities, including plans, designs, reports, and updates.
• Ensure all project activities meet or exceed industry standards, regulations, and company quality guidelines.
• Ensures safety compliance/conformance to the minimum standards of the local authority requirements.

COMMUNICATIONS AND COORDINATION

• Address technical issues and project challenges, providing solutions to keep the projection track.
• Supports senior managers on proper billings and collection of account the projects
• Regularly update stakeholders on project progress, challenges, and changes in scope.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum degree holder of any Engineering or Architectural Course
• Minimum of 3yrs relevant experience in Construction Management
• Licensed and registered by PRC preferred but not necessary
