Job summary

EEI Corporation in Metro Manila (Makati) is seeking a Planning/Scheduler professional. The role involves reviewing bids and construction schedules, validating baseline and current schedules, and ensuring weekly updates in EPPM.

Responsibilities

• Participate in tender document reviews and provide inputs to planning team.
• Attend project meetings and contribute to schedule reviews.
• Perform schedule analyses using health checklists for bid, baseline and current schedules.
• Generate Schedule Health Reports and review resources with planners.
• Ensure Baseline Schedule uploads and weekly updates in EPPM.
• Coordinate with engineering, purchasing and procurement on schedules.
• Prepare data for EVM, resources and analytics programmes.

Job description

Job Summary

Participate in the review of Bid and Project Construction Schedule, with close coordination with BU PMT. Responsible for verifying the Schedule, and Forecast; Ensure all ongoing projects upload a Baseline Schedule and the Current Schedule is being updated weekly in EPPM; diligently review the key milestone dates, required resources and sequence of work. Directly reports to the Planning Supervisor/ Grp. Supervisor/ Manager.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. 1. Participate in review of Tender Documents, Drawings, Zoning / Methodologies and provide inputs/comments to BU's Planning Team
2. 2. Participate in project meetings i.e. Project briefing, Construction Methodology, Schedule Review
3. 3. Perform schedule analysis using the Schedule Health Checklist for Bid Schedule prior bid review.
4. 4. Perform schedule analysis using the Schedule Health Checklist for Baseline and Current Schedule.
5. 5. Generate Schedule Health Report.
6. 6. Review resource requirements with close coordination with BU-Planners.
7. 7. Review schedule constraint with close coordination with BU-Planners.
8. 8. Contribute in the development of standard sequences of work, activity descriptions, durations, etc.
9. 9. Capable of debugging schedule logic. Identify part / process that cause delay
10. 10. Capable of Integrating engineering, purchasing and procurement into schedule
11. 11. Provide and prepare data needed for EVM, Resources and Business Analytics Programme.

Qualifications

This area of work is open to all graduates of degrees but the following subjects maybe particularly helpful;

1. 1. Candidate must possess at least Professional License in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical and Electrical)
2. 2. Basic to Intermediate Skills in Primavera P6, Pert-CPM Analysis, MS Office; Oracle Project Mgt.
3. 3. At least 3 to 4 years working experience in planning/ engineering/ construction
4. 4. Knowledgeable in project planning (Primavera P6), monitoring, scheduling, resource and cost loading, and cost status & interpretation;
5. 5. Knowledge in material identification;
6. 6. Knowledgeable in Estimation, Quality Control, Human Resources & Procurement Procedure, and critical Company Policies & Procedures
7. 7. Basic Knowledge in contracts, change orders, variations and claims.
8. 8. Can work independently or with minimal supervision;
9. 9. Able to travel as needed to participate in schedule development, training, and commercial requirements.
10. 10. Render overtime as needed.
