Job summary

Smartsourcing in Cebu City is seeking a full-time onsite Finance Generalist focused on payroll to run weekly pay accurately and on time. You will also own the wider transactional finance cycle with the onshore team.

The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and clear communication as you manage timesheets, payroll adjustments, AP/AR, and reconciliations while documenting processes and seeking improvements.

Qualifications

• Payroll processing experience with weekly pay runs.
• Experience in transactional finance: journals, AP/AR, reconciliations.
• Experience supporting a small business is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collate, review, and prepare timesheets and payroll data for weekly processing.
• Manage payroll inbox and respond to payroll queries promptly.
• Generate payroll reports and coordinate sign-off with onshore team.
• Process AP/AR, supplier statements, and customer invoicing.
• Complete weekly bank reconciliations and balance-sheet tasks.
• Document processes and support continuous improvement and AI readiness.
