Job summary

Enable PH is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage accurate, timely payroll processing, tax withholdings, and statutory contributions. You will coordinate with HR on data validation and maintain confidentiality of payroll records in a finance-focused environment.

The role covers timesheet auditing, off-cycle payroll, payroll reconciliations, and month-end closings, requiring strong analytical skills and attention to detail in a Philippines-based on-site setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least 5 years of payroll processing experience.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and taxation.
• Solid understanding of payroll reconciliation and financial reporting.
• Attention to detail with strong analytical and numerical skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and audit employee timesheets, attendance, and leaves for accuracy.
• Process regular and off-cycle payroll including salaries, overtime, allowances, and 13th month pay.
• Compute statutory contributions and withholding taxes, and remit to agencies.
• Validate payroll data with HR to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare payroll registers, reports, and GL entries.
• Reconcile payroll disbursements, deductions, and contributions.
• Handle payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain payroll documents for tax and government compliance.
• Coordinate with Finance on month-end closings and accruals.
• Safeguard confidential payroll records and ensure data privacy.
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
