The Payroll and Compensation & Benefits (C&B) Officer is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, administering compensation and benefits programs, and maintaining full compliance with company policies and government regulations. This role supports employee satisfaction and retention by ensuring fair, consistent, and efficient management of pay and benefits.

Key Responsibilities
A. Payroll Administration
- Prepare, review, and process employee payroll accurately and on schedule.
- Validate timekeeping data, attendance, overtime, leaves, and other pay-related records.
- Calculate salaries, bonuses, commissions, incentives, and deductions.
- Generate payslips and ensure secure and timely distribution.
- Reconcile payroll-related accounts and support payroll-related financial audits.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll information at all times.
B. Compensation and Benefits Administration
- Administer employee compensation packages in alignment with company policy and market rates.
- Manage employee benefits programs (health insurance, retirement plans, etc.).
- Process government‑mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag‑IBIG, BIR taxes).
- Prepare, submit, and reconcile statutory reports and contributions.
- Coordinate with benefit providers, brokers, and government agencies when needed.
- Assist in salary surveys, market benchmarking, and compensation structure reviews.
- Support implementation of performance‑based pay adjustments and incentive programs.
C. Reporting and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and company compensation policies.
- Prepare regular payroll, benefits, and headcount reports for management.
- Maintain complete and accurate compensation and payroll records.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
D. Employee Support and Communication
- Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and deductions.
- Communicate compensation and benefits policies, guidelines, and updates.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes by explaining salary structure, benefits, and clearance procedures.
E. Process Improvement & Systems Management
- Maintain, update, and troubleshoot HRIS or payroll systems.
- Recommend improvements to enhance payroll and C&B efficiency and compliance.
- Stay updated on industry trends, labor policies, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in payroll and compensation & benefits administration.
- Proficient in HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, ADP).
- Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory benefits.
- High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
