Job summary

Smartsourcing Inc. is seeking a Finance Generalist on-site in Cebu City, focusing on accurate weekly payroll processing and ownership of broader transactional finance tasks.

You will manage payroll, timesheets, and loadings while coordinating sign-offs and bank-file transmissions, working with the onshore team and offshore colleagues. The role covers daily sales journals, AP/AR, reconciliations, fixed assets, and BAS support, with opportunities to improve processes and document workflows.

Qualifications

• Payroll experience including timesheets, loadings, deductions and weekly pay runs.
• Experience handling transactional finance: journals, AP/AR, bank reconciliations.
• Experience supporting a small business is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Payroll processing: collate timesheets, hours, and prepare weekly payroll.
• Manage payroll inbox and respond to queries professionally.
• Coordinate onboarding/offboarding and sign-off processes.
• Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Assist with AP/AR and supplier/invoice processing.
• Reconcile bank accounts and company credit cards.
• Document processes and drive continuous improvement.
