Job summary

J&T Express Philippines is seeking a Payroll Officer to manage payroll processing, timekeeping validation, and deductions with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality. You will handle bi-monthly payroll and respond to employee inquiries.

The role requires a degree in accounting/HR or business administration, plus 3+ years in payroll or HR functions, and experience with HRIS and payroll software. A on-site position in the Philippines.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Human Resources or Business Administration or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in HR, payroll, and related functions.
• Proven payroll officer/clerk experience with manual and/or system processing.
• Knowledge of HRIS and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate Daily Time Records (DTR).
• Process and disburse bi–monthly payroll.
• Ensure accuracy of payroll calculations and deductions.
• Prepare discrepancy reports and resolve issues.
• Ensure timely payroll processing and respond to employee inquiries.
• Address government and statutory benefits directives.
• Assist Comp & Ben in benefits activities.
