Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounts payable, disbursement, or related accounting functions.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Experience with accounting systems and MS Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Process and prepare payments (checks, bank transfers, and other methods) for disbursement.
• Review payment requests, invoices, and supporting documents for accuracy and authorization.
• Schedule payments according to terms and due dates.
• Maintain organized records of all disbursement transactions.
• Receive, review, and record supplier invoices in the accounting system.
• Track outstanding payables and prioritize payments.
• Coordinate with vendors regarding payment status and discrepancies.
• Accurately encode financial data related to payables and disbursements.
• Assist in reconciling accounts payable with the general ledger.
• Prepare disbursement summaries and reports for monitoring.
• Ensure financial data is accurate and well-documented.
• Support compliance and internal controls, audits, and proper record keeping.
• Collaborate with accounting, procurement, and other departments to verify payment details.
• Resolve discrepancies in invoices, payments, or documentation.
• Perform finance-related administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.
