Job summary

Makati Life Medical Center is seeking a Disbursement Associate to manage the preparation, verification, and processing of outgoing payments at our Makati City facility.

The role ensures timely, accurate disbursement of funds to vendors, employees, and other stakeholders, while maintaining compliance with tax regulations and internal controls, and supporting month-end closing activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in disbursements, accounts payable, or accounting (healthcare experience is an advantage).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles; detail-oriented, reliable, and able to handle sensitive financial information with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify disbursements, including vendor payments, reimbursements, and utilities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Review supporting documents, prepare checks or bank transfers, and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Assist in month-end closing activities and support continuous improvement of disbursement processes and controls.
