Job summary

Smart Apartment Data in the Philippines is seeking a confident Payment Resolution Specialist to follow up with customers on overdue balances and drive accounts toward resolution. This is a phone-focused, fully remote role.

You will make outbound calls, follow up by email, ask direct questions about delays, secure payment commitments, and track notes and next steps while meeting daily and weekly collections targets.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in a dedicated collections role, including experience handling US/international customer accounts.
• Experience actively handling overdue or delinquent accounts and making outbound collections calls.
• Experience securing payment commitments and following up until resolution.
• Comfortable handling objections and having firm conversations about payment.
• Strong verbal communication skills with clear, understandable spoken English.
• Persistent and confident without being rude or aggressive.
• Able to communicate directly and professionally.
• Strong follow-through and accountability.
• Comfortable working with collections targets and performance metrics.

This Role Is Not a Fit If:

• Your experience is primarily in Accounts Receivable, Billing, Credit Analysis, or Credit Control, with collections only as a secondary responsibility.


• Your collections experience has primarily involved clerical, reconciliation, or data-entry work rather than actively managing overdue accounts, making collections calls, and securing payment commitments.

We offer:
