GoLean Health in the Philippines is seeking a Patient Care Communications Specialist for a chiropractic clinic. You will be the voice of the practice, handling calls, texts, emails, and scheduling with a warm, calm, and professional demeanor to create a trusted patient experience.

This high-volume role focuses on calls, scheduling, follow-up, and retention. You must be organized, empathetic, and able to de-escalate concerns while protecting patient privacy under HIPAA. Shifts include Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Excellent spoken English with a neutral accent.
• Strong written communication for SMS, email, and patient messages.
• Experience as Virtual Medical Assistant or similar healthcare support role.
• Able to handle high call volume in a fast-paced clinic.
• Emotionally intelligent with a strong patient service mindset.
• Able to multitask across calls, texts, emails, voicemails, faxes, and scheduling tasks.
• Must own a Mac OS device (MacBook, iMac, or Mac mini).
• Reliable high-speed wired internet (LAN).
• Flexible with schedule and willing to work Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Answer high-volume inbound patient calls professionally and promptly.
• Respond to patient texts, voicemails, emails, and fax-related messages in a timely manner.
• Schedule new patient appointments and collect intake information; manage existing appointments in MacPractice.
• Prioritize new inquiries and referrals before routine rescheduling.
• Conduct follow-up and reactivation outreach for inactive patients to convert inquiries into bookings.
• Maintain accurate patient records and scheduling notes.
• Coordinate with in-office staff to keep the provider schedule full and organized.
• De-escalate scheduling, billing, or insurance concerns with empathy and sound judgment.
• Protect patient privacy and follow HIPAA standards.
