Job summary

Hire Overseas is seeking an Operations Manager to own the day-to-day operational backbone of a fast-growing snack brand. You will oversee order management, supply chain, procurement, production planning, logistics, inventory, forecasting, vendor management, and financial analysis.

This hands-on role emphasizes initiative, AI proficiency, and process improvement to drive efficiency and profitability. This 100% remote role requires availability Monday–Friday, 9 AM–6 PM US Eastern Time.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of operations, supply chain, logistics, procurement, or related experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial principles (COGS, margins, P&L).
• Proven experience managing POs, inventory, production planning, and logistics.
• Experience with freight carriers, warehouses, suppliers, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end order lifecycle from PO receipt to shipment, invoicing, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate inventory allocation and fulfillment across customers and distributors.
• Coordinate parcel, LTL, and FTL shipments and evaluate freight options.
• Develop and maintain inventory and demand forecasts; coordinate production runs.
• Procure ingredients, packaging, and materials; manage POs and negotiate terms.
• Build and maintain sales forecasts, inventory, and cash-flow models.
• Assist with bookkeeping, reconciliations, and AP/AR; support with QuickBooks.
• Use AI tools daily to analyze data, automate workflows, and improve SOPs.
