Job summary

Hire Overseas is seeking an Operations Manager to own the day-to-day operational backbone for a fast-growing snacks brand. You will oversee order management, supply chain, procurement, production planning, logistics, inventory, forecasting, and financial analysis in a hands-on role.

The role emphasizes AI proficiency, initiative, and high organization. You will work remotely with US Eastern time hours and receive USD compensation bi-monthly, plus PTO and holiday observances.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of operations, supply chain, logistics, or related experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial principles including COGS and margins.
• Experience managing POs, inventory, procurement, production planning, and logistics.
• Proficiency with AI tools as daily core work (Claude/ChatGPT).
• Excellent written communication and high organizational ability.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operational backbone across order management, supply chain, procurement, planning, logistics, inventory, forecasting, vendor management, and financial analysis.
• Lead AI-enabled process improvement to make operations faster, more accurate and efficient.
• Oversee order lifecycle from PO receipt to shipment, invoicing, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate inventory allocation and fulfillment with distributors and retailers.
• Manage Freight, docs, and routing, ensuring on-time delivery and cost efficiency.
• Develop and maintain demand forecasts and production plans.
• Analyze costs, margins, and supplier performance; run reports for management.
• Maintain SOPs, data hygiene, and system integrations across Google Sheets, QuickBooks, and EDI.
