Job summary

2GO Group is seeking an Operations Coordinator - Dispatch Planner to plan, assign, and optimize trips for cost-efficient and timely deliveries. You will allocate trips, plan routes, and utilize resources while coordinating with couriers, clients, and internal teams to keep schedules on track.

In this role you will monitor truck movements, ensure on-time pickups and deliveries, and handle trip documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate minimum; Senior High preferred.
• 2–5 years in dispatching or logistics is advantageous.
• Solid routing and trip planning understanding.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel and email.

Responsibilities

• Assign and dispatch trucks based on schedules and needs.
• Monitor truck movements and ensure on-time pickups/deliveries.

As a Operations Coordinator - Dispatch Planner, you will be responsible for the planning, assignment, and optimization of trips to ensure cost-efficient and timely delivery of goods. Your role involves on trip allocation, route planning, and resource utilization, considering factors such as cost, distance, and service requirements as well as communicating with couriers, clients, and internal teams to manage schedules, resolve issues, and maintain smooth day-to-day transport operations.

What You’ll Do (your Mission)

• Assign and dispatch trucks based on pickup and delivery schedules and operational requirements
• Monitor truck movements and ensure on-time pick-up and delivery
• Coordinate with courier regarding routes, delays, and special instructions
• Communicate with 2GO customer service for booking confirmations, updates, and follow-ups
• Handle documentation such as trip reports
• Track and report any delivery issues, accidents, or delays

You’ll thrive in this role if you

• At least a High School Graduate (Senior High School preferred)
• 2 to 5 years of experience in dispatching, logistics, or trucking operations is an advantage
• Strong understanding of routing and trip planning
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Basic MS Excel and email
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple schedules
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
