You will coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, maintaining accurate documentation and reporting to support smooth logistics operations. The role covers shipment monitoring, routing optimization, and administrative tasks such as gatepasses, delivery receipts, and reports.

The Trucking Coordinator is responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring all containerized deliveries, ensuring timely dispatch and completion without incurring penalties or additional charges. The role requires effective coordination with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, while maintaining accurate documentation and reporting to support smooth logistics operations.

Job Description:

Shipment and Monitoring & Coordination

• Monitor shipments from dispatch to delivery

• Coordinate with trucking partners for scheduling and dispatch

• Ensure timely deliveries within free time to avoid demurrage, detention, or storage charges

• Assist Logistics Coordinator and truckers with terminal port issues

Reporting & Documentation

• Record daily gatepasses, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all required details

• Update tracking systems for completed deliveries

• Send regular reports on pulled-out containers and remaining gate passes

• Report incidental charges

Administrative Tasks

• Request delivery addresses from Logistics Coordinator and provide advance notifications

• Handle truck bookings and support truckers with pre-advise emails for empty returns

• Prepare delivery receipts for each shipment

• Print gatepass documents (1 set per container)

• Follow up DR and EIR with truckers after deliveries and empty container returns

Resource & Route Management

• Seek reliable truckers for containerized and empty flatrack returns

• Plan trucking trips and optimize routing for cost-effective deliveries

• Ensure empty container returns are completed promptly

Other Duties

• Perform related tasks as assigned by officer, supervisor, or management

Skill Set

• Proven experience in trucking coordination or logistics operations

• Strong planning and organizational skills with attention to detail

• Good communication and coordination abilities with clients and service providers

• Proficient in MS Office, MS Excel, and logistics software

• Knowledge of port operations and trucking documentation is preferred

Working Conditions

• Monday-Friday (3:00PM - 12MN), Saturday (10:00AM - 7:00PM)

• Flexible schedule: Actual working hours are flexible, provided an 8-hour duty is completed within the operating hours. Any deviation requires proper justification and is subject to approval.
