Here’s the difference you’ll make You will be responsible for truck fleet management and equipment and manpower allocation. Part of the function includes the dispatch of containers (dry van, reefers, and isotanks) and trucks for pick-ups and deliveries to meet the required delivery date of customers, and collation of billings documents in coordination with Documentation Department. You are also to assume responsibility in managing chassis inventory, container allocation, and production of various operational and management reports.
What You’ll Do
- Plans and execute equipment and manpower allocation to ensure on time pick-up and delivery to customers - 100% Compliance to customer SLA
- Develops operational policies and procedures to comply with customer and/or regulatory requirements - No incident of non-compliance
- Ensures on-time submission of PODs for timely billing to customers - POD Compliance
- Optimizes equipment utilization to achieve cost efficiency - Equipment Utilization and Turn-around
- Coordinates with customers to discuss operational set-up and/or operational issues. Develop corrective/preventive actions - 100% Compliance to customer SLA
- Negotiates contract/rates with suppliers to ensure management of service levels and achieve cost efficiency - Budget KPI
- Formulates and manages department budget - Budget KPI
- Prepares operational and management reports - KPI/KRA
- Ensures on-time submission of Claims related documents - KPI/KRA
- Management of Ops Revolving fund - 100% Compliance to SLA
- Coordinate with internal customers to address pick-up/delivery/vessel ops issues - No incident of non-compliance
- Supervise day-to-day operations - 100% Compliance to SLA
