Job summary

2GO Group Inc. is seeking a Vessel Operations Support to oversee daily vessel activities, ensuring safe, on-time execution of loading and unloading while coordinating with port operators. You will monitor productivity, report abnormalities, and drive real-time improvements across maritime operations.

Ideal candidates are college graduates with knowledge of vessel and port operations, KPI monitoring, and cargo handling. The role requires on-site work in Metro Manila, Philippines.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vessel operations to meet productivity and timelines.
• Coordinate with Port Operator to clear discharging areas.
• Report abnormalities in operations to Vessel Operations Supervisor.
• Request Extra Service via Control Center from Port Operator or Motor Pool.
• Coordinate about unmanifested containers with Control Center.
• Provide hourly updates on operations status to the team.
• Facilitate loading/unloading of rolling cargoes from vessel to shipside.
• Draft manual incident reports when supervisor is absent and validate later.
• Coordinate cargo shifts with wrong port destination with supervisor and officers.
• Facilitate loading of rolling cargo from shipside to vessel.
• Tag departure times in VOYCES after recap of cargo loading manifest.
• Complete Operations Report Forms and submit to Control Center.
• Identify bottlenecks and coordinate corrective actions in real time.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.

At 2GO Group, you will help ensure the safe, efficient, and seamless execution of vessel operations that keep people and cargo moving across the country. In this role, you will support the Operations Supervisor in overseeing daily vessel operations while ensuring adherence to the Operations 2P’s and established operational standards.

Your contribution will be essential in maintaining smooth port and vessel activities, supporting operational excellence, and delivering reliable service to our customers. Through close coordination with internal teams and operational stakeholders, you will help drive efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement across maritime operations.

What you’ll do..

• Monitor and ensure vessel operations meet planned productivity and completion timelines.
• Coordinate with Port Operator to clear discharging areas.
• Report to Vessel Operations Supervisor about abnormalities in operations causing slow down.
• Coordinate to Control Center for request of Extra Service (Reworks, Tireman, Batteryman, etc) from Port Operator or Motor Pool in situations needed.
• Coordinate to Control Center regarding unmanifested containers.
• Provide hourly updates regarding operation’s status to the operations team
• Facilitate in Unloading and Loading of Rolling Cargoes/Motorcycles from Vessel to shipside
• Draft manual incident reports when Supervisor is not present and getting it validated by Vessel Operations Supervisor once he is available.
• Coordinate with Vessel Operations Supervisor and Vessel Officers of possible shifting of cargoes with the wrong port of destination.
• Facilitate loading of rolling cargo from shipside to vessel.
• Tagging of vessel actual time of departure thru VOYCES in Freight System shall be done after CTS Recapper finishes recapping cargo loading manifest.
• Accomplishment the Operations Report Forms and submitting it to Control Center.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and coordinate corrective actions in real time.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
