Responsible for ensuring that all inbound cargoes will be unloaded while outbound cargoes will be loaded to vessel. In charge of checking, accepting & releasing of inbound or outbound cargoes at On-dock & Off-Dock cycles. Validates issued D.O., inspects containers & documents their condition in the EIR prior release. Inspects & releases goods & appropriate containers based on shippers’ requirements prior to stuffing or for empty release. Executes operations based on the safety standards, policies & procedures set by the company.
What you’ll do
ON DOCK
- Represent berthing meeting in the absence of Ops Supervisor – 100% compliance
- Conduct & submit inventory of container & chassis present at port – 100% compliance
- Coordinate with handling operators for vessel ATA & volume of cargoes for manpower deployment – 100% compliance
- Coordinate with pilot, tugboat operators & freshwater supplier for arriving vessel requirements – 100% compliance
- Check, measure, document & accept shipside cargoes like RC, LCL & other cargoes directly stuffed at port – 100% compliance
- Coordinate with handling operator for available space of RCs & stacking area for inbound cargoes – 100% compliance
- Ensure premounting of outbound cargoes prior arrival of vessel – 100% compliance
- Conduct physical inventory of outbound cargoes if in yard prior vessel arrival; coordinate with off‑dock coordinators if other cargoes are not yet in yard – 100% compliance
- Conduct toolbox meeting with vessel checkers prior operations start – 100% compliance
- Ensure unloading of inbound cargoes based on ICR while loading outbound cargoes based on loadlist – 100% compliance
- Regularly coordinate with vessel checker for any operational constraints that may affect productivity – 100% compliance
- Release inbound cargoes that are directly caught or pulled‑out at port – 100% compliance
- Facilitate transfer of all inbound containers to off‑dock CY; check condition & document in EIR – 100% compliance
- Ensure inbound and outbound containers are cleared from the pier apron and assigned marshalling area within allowable free time – 100% compliance
- Prepare & submit VAR reports to required recipients (SMS & email) – 100% compliance
- Tag actual loaded cargoes in the system – 100% compliance
- Perform & execute operations based on the safety standard set by the company – 100% compliance
- Prepare incident report for any untoward incidents beyond normal process during & after operations – 100% compliance
- Perform other duties that may be assigned by immediate leader – 100% compliance
OFF DOCK
- Release good condition & appropriate containers based on shippers’ requirement prior stuffing of cargo or empty release for pick‑up – 100% compliance
- Check & document in EIR the condition of all containers coming in & out in the CY; prepare IR for any damages found & submit to surveyor or Ops Supervisor for proper investigation & charging – 100% compliance
- Facilitate transfer of all outbound cargoes to on dock/port based on advance or final loadlist – 100% compliance
- Validate details of D.O. versus actual container including seal prior release of inbound cargo; if discrepancy coordinate with FDT/CIC for revalidation – 100% compliance
- Check & inspect empty returned containers for any damages & trash; document in EIR and prepare IR for damages – 100% compliance
- Check & receive laden outbound cargoes from shipper, validate documents like PBL versus actual container including seal; document condition in EIR; if damages prepare IR and submit to surveyor or Ops Supervisor for investigation & charging – 100% compliance
- Perform and submit daily inventory report of container & chassis present in CY – 100% compliance
- Locate containers in the CY that are subject for release or stripping – 100% compliance
- Instruct CHEO on placement of containers coming into CY based on the given CY layout – 100% compliance
- Instruct CHEO on containers subject for mounting to trucks – 100% compliance
- Prepare incident report for any untoward incidents beyond normal process during & after operations – 100% compliance
- Perform & execute operations based on the safety standard set by the company – 100% compliance
- Perform other duties that may be assigned by immediate leader – 100% compliance
