Job summary

TaskUs is seeking a Technical Support Engineer (EP & Security) to deliver high-quality support to customers, solving complex issues across Windows, macOS and Linux environments. You will handle chats, calls and tickets, ensuring security and reliability while meeting internal KPIs.

The role requires strong network, security and system administration knowledge, plus excellent communication skills. Onsite schedule is rotational in a People-First culture at TaskUs Philippines.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems.
• Familiar with the OSI model and troubleshooting network stack (VLAN, NAT, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS) using CLI tools.
• Understanding of SSL/TLS encryption and certificates.
• Basic Windows administration including Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Hands-on experience with patch management and performance troubleshooting.
• Basic system log analysis beyond Event Viewer (e.g., /var/log/).
• Ability to read/write SQL queries.
• Experience with antivirus/EDR/MDR tools and applications.
• Familiar with Windows firewall concepts and rule configuration.

• Maintain a professional, courteous, customer-first attitude while handling chats, phones and tickets.
