Job summary

Robinsons Appliances Corp. in Davao City is seeking a dedicated IT Specialist to provide technical support, maintain IT systems, and ensure smooth operation of store technology including POS, printers, and computer hardware.

You will troubleshoot issues, install and configure systems, manage user accounts, log requests, and coordinate with vendors to improve store technology, with onsite work and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• At least 1 year of IT support experience, including hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Proficient with Windows operating systems and Microsoft applications.
• Experience with POS systems and IT peripherals is preferred.
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems is an advantage.
• Retail industry experience is a plus.
• Willing to work onsite and travel when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and resolve IT-related concerns from employees and stores.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, POS, and printer issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, applications, and hardware devices.
• Create and manage user accounts and system access for new employees. Monitor, log, and update service requests through the ticketing system.
• Diagnose and resolve system issues while ensuring minimal operational downtime.
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for issue resolution and system improvements.
• Provide timely updates to users regarding the status of their service requests.
