Job summary

The ideal candidate has a IT-related degree, at least 1 year of IT support experience, and strong Windows/Microsoft skills. Onsite work with occasional travel is required to support multiple locations.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year IT support experience.
• Proficient in Windows OS and Microsoft applications.
• POS, printers and IT peripherals experience preferred.
• ServiceNow knowledge or similar ticketing system advantageous.
• Retail experience advantageous.
• Willing to work onsite and travel if needed.

Robinsons Appliances is looking for a dedicated and proactive IT Specialist to provide technical support, maintain IT systems, and ensure the smooth operation of store technology, including POS systems, printers, and computer hardware.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and resolve IT-related concerns from employees and stores.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, POS, and printer issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, applications, and hardware devices.
• Create and manage user accounts and system access for new employees. Monitor, log, and update service requests through the ticketing system.
• Diagnose and resolve system issues while ensuring minimal operational downtime.
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for issue resolution and system improvements.
• Provide timely updates to users regarding the status of their service requests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related field.
• At least one (1) year of relevant experience in IT support, hardware, and software troubleshooting.
• Proficient in Windows operating systems and Microsoft applications.
• Experience in troubleshooting POS systems, printers, and other IT peripherals is preferred.
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems is an advantage.
• Retail industry experience is an advantage.
• Willing to work onsite and travel when necessary.
