Job summary

Sharesource Australia BPO in the Philippines is seeking a high-performing Collections Officer to manage a portfolio of 400–500 customers and drive proactive collections in line with AU client expectations. The role involves 40–50 daily calls and a strong focus on active collections, with room to grow into broader AR functions.

On-site work in Makati or Davao under AU hours supports collaboration and growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years proven experience in Collections or AR/credit control.
• Experience supporting Australian (AU) clients preferred.
• Strong English communication skills for professional client interactions.
• Comfortable handling high-volume collection calls and managing large portfolios.
• Willingness to learn and expand into broader AR functions.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive collections: manage a portfolio of 400–500 customers with ~40–50 inbound/outbound calls daily to secure payments.
• Prioritize active collections: ~80–90% time on proactive collections, rest on AR tasks.
• Engage Australian clients: build professional relationships and negotiate payment arrangements.
• Follow through on commitments: monitor promises, conduct timely follow-ups, escalate when needed.
• Maintain accurate records in the ERP system for all interactions and outcomes.
• Support AR activities: process cash receipts and assist reconciliations; opportunities to expand responsibilities.
