Job summary

Prifood Corporation in Laguna seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair and recondition production machinery, conduct preventive maintenance, and monitor spare parts to minimize downtime. The candidate should have 3 years of online maintenance, instrumentation and facility experience, be able to work in confined spaces, and be on-call when needed.

Experience with safety standards and GMP, plus the ability to work with minimal supervision, is preferred.

• Three (3) years online maintenance, instrumentation and facility experiences.

• Initiate program through team briefing & monthly meeting: GMP, Personnel Hygiene and Plant Hygiene.

Job Qualifications

Basic/Required:

• Three (3) years online maintenance, instrumentation and facility experiences.
• Can lift up to fifty (50) pounds
• Can work in enclosed spaces such as tanks
• Can work safely near large, hot, high-speed machines
• Can climb up to two hundred (200) feet in height or work at elevated heights
• Can work around chemicals including acids and bases
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs)
• Ability to be on call and respond to call-outs during off hours due to business necessity
• Can work outside in harsh weather conditions
• Ability to lift, climb, walk, kneel and squat on a regular basis

Preferred:

• Industrial Automation and Mechatronics, Control Engineering Technology, Maintenance Technology, Instrumentation and Electronics.
• Three (3) years experience in lock out/tag out procedures
• Three (3) years in maintenance, turnaround and/or shutdown work experience
• Experience in developing analysis methods and performing troubleshooting and repairs.
• Demonstrated communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to diagnose equipment malfunctions, identify corrective actions and analyze or document complex inspection and repair information.

• Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements
