Job summary

Accent Micro Technologies, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Technical Support specialist to provide Level 1 hardware and software support, PC deployment, and IT asset management. The role covers installation, configuration, and maintenance tasks onsite to ensure smooth IT operations.

You will handle OS installations, driver updates, and standard image deployment while maintaining accurate asset records and reporting on activity. Strong communication and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

Graduate of IT, Computer Science, or related course.
Experience in IT/Technical Support, Desktop Support, or Asset Management.
Knowledgeable in hardware/software troubleshooting, OS installation, and PC deployment.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Willing to work on-site and perform hands-on technical support activities.

Responsibilities

Provide Level 1 technical support for hardware, software, and user-related concerns.
Perform PC/laptop setup, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Install and configure OS, drivers, applications, and standard images.
Handle IT asset inventory, tagging, deployment, and asset updates.
Perform hardware upgrades and parts replacement, including memory and HDD.
Coordinate warranty claims, RMA, parts delivery, and pullout.
Assist with asset refresh, decommissioning, and proper equipment disposal.
Prepare service schedules, inventory updates, and technical reports.
