Job summary

INTERACTIVE MULTI-PURPOSE COOPERATIVE is seeking an On-call Kitchen Steward to support our Pasay City kitchen. This full-time role focuses on cleanliness, hygiene, and efficient operation of kitchen facilities to ensure a high standard of service for guests and customers.

You will work with the culinary team to wash dishes, manage waste, and maintain equipment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations while supporting peak service periods.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting preferred.
• Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to lift, bend and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable and flexible for on-call shifts.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation by washing dishes and equipment.
• Organise and store cleaned items for easy access.
• Sweep, mop and sanitise floors and work surfaces.
• Dispose of waste and recyclables per health regulations.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as required.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment like dishwashers.
• Adhere to food safety protocols to prevent cross-contamination.
• Support kitchen during peak service times.
• Respond to on-call shifts as scheduled.
