Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen environment and understanding of hygiene standards.
• Strong organisational and time management skills are required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality setting and learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and surfaces.
• Oversee the dishwashing station and ensure proper cleaning and storage of wares.
• Organise storage areas with proper rotation and labeling of dry goods and perishables.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks under supervision.
• Dispose of waste per health and safety regulations.
• Restock kitchen supplies and cleaning materials as needed.
• Support mise en place and organize workstations for service.
• Adhere to food safety protocols to prevent cross-contamination.
• Operate dishwashers and disposal units safely.
• Respond promptly to kitchen requests during busy periods.
