Job summary

KitchenCare Consultancy Phils Inc is seeking a Kitchen Steward to support the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of all kitchen areas, equipment, utensils, and workstations to meet 5-star hotel standards.

The ideal candidate has prior experience as a Kitchen Steward or in similar roles, experience in high-volume kitchens or luxury resorts, and a strong commitment to food safety, hygiene, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience as Kitchen Steward or dishwasher is an advantage.
• Experience in a 5-star hotel, luxury resort, restaurant, or high-volume kitchen preferred.
• Knowledge of basic kitchen sanitation and hygiene practices.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, and sanitize kitchen utensils, pots, pans, plates, glassware, and other equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, floors, walls, sinks, and workstations.
• Operate and properly maintain dishwashing and kitchen cleaning equipment.
• Assist kitchen staff in keeping work areas organized and free from hazards.
• Properly segregate and dispose of garbage and kitchen waste according to hotel procedures.
• Ensure adequate supply of clean utensils, equipment, and other kitchen items.
• Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing kitchen supplies when required.
• Follow proper food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and occupational safety procedures.
• Report damaged equipment, maintenance concerns, or sanitation issues to the supervisor.
• Perform deep-cleaning duties and other housekeeping tasks within the kitchen.
• Support chefs and kitchen staff with other operational requirements as assigned.
• Maintain a professional and cooperative attitude while working in a fast-paced hotel environment.
