Job summary

Wesco in the Philippines is seeking an Associate Engineer – Support (Associate NOC Engineer) to monitor and troubleshoot client networks, ensuring SLA performance and reliability.

You will respond to alerts, diagnose problems, log incidents, and collaborate with teams to restore services quickly while documenting steps. This role requires a engineering degree, CCNA/JNCIA or equivalent, and at least 1 year in network operations, with shift flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• CCNA or JNCIA certification or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in network operations, preferably in a NOC.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching and related protocols.
• Basic knowledge of network monitoring tools.
• Experience with network devices (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, H3C, etc.).
• Customer-centric mindset with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor network performance and identify potential issues.
• Respond to alerts and incidents and diagnose problems.
• Identify and resolve network connectivity issues, hardware failures and other technical problems.
• Accurately prioritizes, categorizes, tracks and logs calls, tickets, incidents, etc.
• Maintain accurate documentation of MOPs, SOPs, and other troubleshooting steps.
• Ensure response and resolutions meet SLA terms.
• Evaluate, identify, and replicate issues and escalate as needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Work closely with other teams to ensure network reliability and support business operations.
