Job summary

Wealthrive is seeking an experienced Accountant/Bookkeeper to support a US-based client from the Philippines. You will handle day-to-day accounting, AP/AR, GL, reconciliations, and prepare financial statements, ensuring compliance with Philippine tax laws and US GAAP where applicable.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel, and strong communication skills for client calls.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of accounting and/or bookkeeping experience.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws and payroll regulations.
• Proficient in QuickBooks and MS Excel.
• Good written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping tasks (AP/AR, GL, reconciliations).
• Serve as primary accounting contact for the US-based client.
• Communicate accounting updates and requirements via client calls and emails.
• Prepare monthly and yearly financial statements with timely reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine tax laws and US GAAP where applicable.
• Coordinate with US teams across time zones.
